BERKELEY, CA — If you struggle with having enough money to live on after paying rent, there's a new option for below-market-rate rent in Berkeley. The 70-unit Panoramic Berkeley will be taking lottery applications through Sept. 29 for six very low-income units. To qualify, you must make no more than $43,400 to $66,950 a year, depending on the unit type.
To be entered into the lottery, you must complete and submit a rental application and affordable housing questionnaire. The lottery will be held on Sept. 30.
