Academy Starts Renovating Beverly Hills Location
Operations at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater will not be affected, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences began renovating its headquarters in Beverly Hills this month, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The project will continue through the fall of 2014.
Repairs are being made to the building at 8949 Wilshire Blvd., which was designed by Maxwell Starkman. It opened in 1975.
Staff have been relocated to temporary offices at the May Company building, and operations at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater will not be affected.
