BEVERLY HILLS, CA — About 10 maskless protesters are marching in front of the Sephora in downtown Beverly Hills, according to eyewitness accounts.
Footage uploaded to Twitter by journalist Emily Holshouser shows protesters gathered in front of the department store, located at the intersection of N. Beverly Drive and Dayton Way, chanting “No More Masks!” while holding orange pieces of paper that say “Boycott Sephora” “Sephora Supports Communism,” and “Question COVID Lies.”
One protester shouted, “Sephora is agent of Chinese government.”

There is no evidence of those claims against Sephora, and it is unclear why the group is targeting that store in particular. Store employees wouldn’t comment, but Patch is awaiting response from Sephora’s corporate office.

In January, a group of anti-mask protesters marched maskless around Westfield Century City Mall. Some protesters got into physical confrontations with other shoppers. One was arrested, but later released.
