Beverly Hills Has A New Website Just For Dogs

'Doggy Daze 90210' features hundreds of dog photos, videos, and resources for our four-legged friends.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Who do you think deserves the title of Beverly Hills top dog: Louie the long-haired chihuahua busking for change with his guitar? How about Luca the mioritic, who likes to passionately kiss religious statues? Or Sushi the pomeranian, a white puffball who may be Beverly Hills' closest approximation of a snowball?

Until Feb. 15, you can choose Luca, Louie, Sushi, and over 600 other dogs submitted to Doggy Daze 90210, Beverly Hills' new dog website designed to replace Woofstock 90210. Normally, Roxbury Park hosts an extravaganza full of treats, frisbees, and parades, but during the pandemic, the city has managed to bring most of the delights of Woofstock online.

For the month of February, Beverly Hills dog lovers can treat themselves an array of canine delights from the comfort of their home. In addition to browsing through hundreds of cute, quirky photos, they can take photos of their own dog through a Photo Booth function that allows for all kinds of digital embellishments. In the Entertainment section, enjoy five straight minutes of Beverly Hills sheep dogs, sponsored by the 2020 Old English Sheep Dog Rescue Parade. Or bask in the simple pleasures of seeing a dog chase after a frisbee, courtesy of Disc Dogs in Southern California, an organization devoted to promoting the joys and benefits of frisbee with dogs. (Are they hiring?)
