Beverly Hills Lieutenant Earns Top Honors at Northwestern University
Lieutenant Howard Shock received the Franklin M. Kreml Leadership Award from Northwestern University's School of Police Staff and Command.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Beverly Hills Public Safety Department Lt. Howard Shock earned the Franklin M. Kreml Leadership Award at Northwestern University's School of Police Staff and Command, according to HometownLife.com.
The award goes to the student who best displays "dedication, devotion, ethics and sense of justice that exemplifies the kind of leadership that is needed in today’s law enforcement community."
“Throughout the class, Lt. Howard Shock consistently demonstrated an excellence in these qualities and characteristically distinguished himself in these areas and therefore was selected by his classmates to be the recipient of the Kreml Award,” School Director David Bradford said according to HometownLife.com.

The program runs for 10 weeks, and prepares police officers for senior-level positions in their agencies through field exercises and classroom instruction on the latest trends of police work, said HometownLife.com.
Shock graduated from the command school in June, and is a veteran officer of the Beverly Hills Public Safety Department.
