Beverly Hills Resident Reports Mail Theft

A Beverly Hills homeowner submitted a surveillance video clearly showing a man going through their mail box earlier in November, reports KTLA.

The man reportedly approaches the mailbox, grabs a handful of mail and then returns to his four-door sedan and drives away.

To prevent mail theft, the United States Post Office recommends:

• Do not leave mail in a mailbox overnight.
• Do not send cash by mail.
• Notify the post office when traveling out of town for an extended period.
