Beverly Hills Woman Nabbed for Alleged Pot Smuggling
Lisette Lee was arrested for allegedly trying to smuggle 500 pounds of marijuana into California on a chartered plane.

Hot off the Wires: Lisette Lee, 28, of Beverly Hills is due in federal court today after getting busted Monday at a Columbus, Ohio airport for allegedly transporting massive quantities of marijuana.Â
Lee and three companions allegedly transferred 13 suitcases stuffed with marijuana from a private jet into waiting vehicles, according to police.
DEA agents took notice of Lee after spotting what they described as her excessive amount of luggage, according to a report.

Lee, who authorities said attempted to pass herself off as an electronics heiress, was traveling by chartered jet. The DEA said last Monday's flight was her fourth between Van Nuys and Columbus.
Update: The Columbus Dispatch has reported that DEA agents arrested Lee and three other passengers at Port Columbus International Airport after she arrived on a chartered jet from Van Nuys that also contained 13 large Louis Vuitton suitcases stuffed with more than 500 pounds marijuana worth about $500,000.
