BHHS Seniors Receive American Legion Scholastic Commendations

Both students were chosen as delegates to be representatives of Beverly Hills High School last summer by The American Legion to attend Girls State and Boys State, respectively.

The American Legion honored Beverly Hills High School seniors Ellie Dubin and Evan Rennie with American Legion scholastic commendations at the Sept. 10 Board of Education meeting. Both students were chosen as delegates to be representatives of Beverly Hills High School by The American Legion to attend Girls State and Boys State, respectively.

Rennie and Dubin were selected based on a combination of their academics, leadership and service activities. During the intensive week-long program this summer, with rising seniors from across California, the two participated in setting up a fully functional government at the city, county and state level to better understand the responsibilities citizens have.

Congrats to Dubin and Rennie!
