Burglary Suspect In Custody In Beverly Hills

An LAPD helicopter hovered over a Beverly Hills guest home where a burglary suspect was believed to be staying.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — A burglary suspect is now in custody in Beverly Hills, authorities say.

Beverly Hills and Los Angeles police responded to a call at 10:21 a.m. Friday that a possible burglary suspect was inside a guest house of a residence on the 700 block of North Palm Drive, just south of Sunset Boulevard.

Beverly Hills police and an LAPD helicopter were at the scene and N. Palm Drive was temporarily closed between Elvado Avenue and Sunset Boulevard, according to BHPD Capt. Max Subin.

At around 11:20 a.m., Subin told Patch that the suspect is in custody and nearby streets are being reopened.
