'Cars 3' Overtakes 'Wonder Woman' At Weekend Box Office
The Tupac Shakur biopic "All Eyez On Me" debuted in third place with $26.4 million, according to final figures released Monday.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Disney's "Cars 3" raced to the top of the North American box office over the weekend, knocking "Wonder Woman" into second place, according to final figures released Monday.
"Cars 3" collected $53.7 million between Friday and Monday to secure the top spot at theaters, according to box-office tracker comScore. "Wonder Woman" fell to second place, but still collected $41.3 million to pad its gaudy three-week total of $275.1 million.
The Tupac Shakur biopic "All Eyez On Me" debuted in third place with $26.4 million, while Tom Cruise's "The Mummy" took fourth with $14.5 million.

The underwater thriller "47 Meters Down" opened with $11.2 million to take fifth place.
Rounding out the 10 most popular movies were "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" ($9 million); "Rough Night" ($8 million); "Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie" ($7.2 million); "Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2" ($5.1 million); and "It Comes At Night" ($2.6 million).
