Coroner's Office Identifies Man who Died in Beverly Hills Elevator
The San Bernardino resident was an elevator technician working in a three-story apartment building.

Authorities today identified a man who died in an apparent industrial accident involving an elevator at a Beverly Hills apartment building.

Police and firefighters were called about 8:50 p.m. Thursday to the 400 block of South Rexford Drive, near Olympic Boulevard, Beverly Hills police Sgt. Giovanni Trejo said.
Frank Barrile, 31, of San Bernardino died at the scene, said coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter.

Barrile was an elevator technician employed by Amtech Elevator Services, Trejo said. Barrile was found in the elevator shaft on the ground floor of the three-story apartment building, Trejo said.
