DEA, FBI, USPS Investigate U.S. Private Vaults In Beverly Hills

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Investigators from the DEA, FBI, and the US Postal Service are conducting an ongoing, joint investigation at U.S. Private Vaults in Beverly Hills, an FBI spokesperson confirmed.

DEA investigators obtained a warrant to search U.S. Private Vaults, a private company offering insured, bank safe deposit rentals located at the Beverly Palm Plaza strip mall at the intersection of West Olympic Boulevard and South Palm Drive. Investigators arrived there early Monday morning, spokesperson Nicole Nishida told Patch. The affidavit in support the warrant is sealed, FBI spokesperson Laura Eimiller told City News Service.

DEA investigators are still on the scene, as of 9:50 a.m. Monday. No nearby streets have been closed down, according to the Beverly Hills Police Department. Nishida said she does not know if any stores were evacuated.
