For $5,000, donors can adopt a plaque on a park bench and choose its location. A select number of benches are available for plaques in the City’s parks and mini parks. A 2 x 10 plaque, secured to a park bench, can include the donor’s name, honor a loved one, or acknowledge a special achievement or memory. Space is limited on plaques and customized wording is subject to approval.
Each park bench plaque will be reserved for 10 years. Donations are limited to one plaque on a bench per family for each park. Honorary plaques will be returned to donors following its expiration date. All existing park bench plaques will be grandfathered into the updated Park Bench Plaque Donation Program.
