LOS ANGELES, CA — County firefighters quickly extinguished a house fire Saturday in the Windsor Hills area of Los Angeles.
The fire in the 6000 block of South La Brea was reported at 3:45 a.m., according to dispatch supervisor Bernard Peters of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The department sent four fire engines and a fire truck to the scene, he said. The blaze was knocked down in about 15 minutes, he added.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remained under investigation, Peters said.
