Lamar Odom Reportedly Suffers Brain Damage Caused by Several Strokes
The former Laker and Clipper has a long road to recovery, sources say.

Now at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center more than a week after being found unconscious at a Nevada brothel, Lamar Odom is feeling “way better” but may have experienced brain damage as a result of several strokes and will have to undergo therapy for “months and months,” it was reported today.
That assessment was from a person who was not authorized to publicly discuss the issue but who spoke to the Los Angeles Times and reported that Odom became “more and more aware” Tuesday and that what had been a problem with his lungs is no longer an issue.
Doctors in Las Vegas, where Odom was hospitalized until Monday afternoon, didn’t find any paralysis after Odom, 35, had several strokes but there is a fear that he might have some brain damage, the person told The Times, adding that the former Laker and Clipper faces “a long road to recovery,” will have to undergo dialysis, plus physical therapy “for months and months.”
