CHATSWORTH, CA — LeBron James’ two sons will attend school in Chatsworth next school year in what the NBA legend describes as a better basketball fit.

Bronny and Bryce James will transfer from Santa Monica Crossroads Chatsworth Sierra Canyon next year, according to the Los Angeles Times. A source told the newspaper James and his wife Savannah felt that the boys would have better opportunities at Sierra Canyon.

The school boys and girls basketball teams are reigning CIF State Open Division champs. Bronny, the elder boy, will be entering ninth grade and launching his high school basketball career.

The school is known for its celebrity families, but it's also a draw for the children of star basketball players. According to the Times, last season's team featured Scotty Pippen Jr., KJ Martin, son of retired NBA player Kenyon Martin’s, and Cassius Stanley, whose father is a well-known sports agent. All three star players are headed to college play next this year.
