Man Dies in Elevator Accident in Beverly Hills

A man died tonight in an apparent industrial accident involving the elevator of a Beverly Hills apartment building, police said..

Police and firefighters were called about 8:50 p.m. to the 400 block of South Rexford Drive, near Olympic Boulevard, Beverly Hills police Officer Giovanni Trejo said.

The man, who was possibly an elevator technician, was pronounced dead at the scene, Trejo said.
