NFL Hall Of Famer Tony Gonzalez Lists Beverly Hills Mansion

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Tony Gonzalez, the former tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs and the Atlanta Falcons, is listing his sumptuous, fully renovated Beverly Hills pad for $28 million.

Gonzalez, a 6'5" Hall of Famer considered one of the best tight ends of all time, bought a 1950s-era home in in early 2016 for $7.1 million, and then razed it. He and his wife and spent the next three years transforming it into its current splendor, according to a report in Dirt.

“We noticed our friends were moving to the east side of the Flats," Gonzalez said. "We fell in love with the walkability to Soho House and restaurants - it gave us a sense of a European lifestyle. The perfect combo of a family neighborhood while still being in the mix.”

Gonzalez originally listed the 13,300-square-foot Flats home for $30 million in August, but dropped the price to $28 million in December.
