On Tap: Board of Education, BHUSD Fundraiser for Typhoon Haiyan Victims
Here are five things to know in Beverly Hills today.

1. The Beverly Hills Board of Education meets at 7 p.m. at the Salter Family Theatre at the high school. Click here to view the school district calendar for the week.
2. In the wake of Typhoon Haiyan that tore through the Philippines on Nov. 8, the global Red Cross network is responding to emergency needs with food, water, and relief supplies. On Tuesday, November 26, each of the five BHUSD schools will be holding a district-wide fundraiser to collect spare change. There will be collection bins during morning drop-off. 3. You can give a gift this holiday season that will help revitalize Los Angeles' park and mountain forests through tax deductible donations, and TreePeople, headquartered on Mulholland Drive in Beverly Hills, will plant a tree in dedication to friends, family, co-workers, clients, and anyone on holiday gift lists.
