Paul Ryan To Speak At Milken Institute Global Conference

BEVERLY HILLS, CA – House Speaker Paul Ryan and Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross are among the scheduled participants as the 21st annual Milken Institute Global Conference concludes Wednesday in Beverly Hills. Ryan will field questions from CNBC anchor Brian Sullivan. Ross will speak at a session titled "The Final Frontier: Space as a Business Opportunity."

Former Defense Secretary Robert Gates will discuss "Strategy, Security and Service" with Susan Eisenhower, the CEO and Chairman of The Eisenhower Group, a Washington-based consulting company. Eisenhower is a granddaughter of former President Dwight D. Eisenhower.

Sen. Cory Booker, D-New Jersey, will answer questions from Richard Sandler, a longtime investor and executive vice president of the Milken Family Foundation.

More than 4,000 people from more than 60 nations – a conference record – are set to attend the conference, which features discussions with current and former senior U.S. government officials and international policymakers about such issues as trade, technology, national security and the opioid crisis.

CEOs, philanthropists, investors, innovators and medical researchers will tackle topics ranging from artificial intelligence to blockchain, financial regulations, global markets and breakthroughs in health.
