Seven months late

Sometime between New Year's Day and July 21, an item worth $1,500 was taken from the display shelf at a store on the 400 block of North Rodeo Drive.

Carport burglary

Sometime between July 9 and 13, someone took unsecured property from a carport on the 200 block of South Willaman Drive. The victim reported losses of $420.

Courtyard thief

During the night of July 11, someone stole property from the front courtyard of a home on the 100 block of North Wetherly Drive. The thief is believed to have entered the premises through an unlocked gate, removed goods valued at $1,160 and then fled the location.

Street fight

Between 1 and 3:30 p.m. July 13, two people got into a scuffle on the 300 block of North La Peer Drive. What started out as a verbal argument escalated into a physical altercation and vandalism.

I'll bag it myself

Between 6:30 and 7:15 p.m. July 15, goods were stolen from a store on the 9600 block of Wilshire Boulevard. The thief selected merchandise, concealed it in a bag and exited the store without paying. The store reported losses of $1,400.

Vampire perp

Between 9 and 10 p.m. July 15, an assault occurred on the 400 block of North Crescent Drive. The victim reported being struck and kicked several times in the head and face as well as being bitten on the left shoulder by a male described as 27 years old. 

Watch your back

At about 9 p.m. July 16, someone snatched property from the back of a chair on the 300 block of North Beverly Drive. The victim reported losses of $4,000.

Through the roof

During the night of July 16, someone broke into a subterranean garage on the 100 block of North Gale Drive. The person is believed to have entered a car through an open sunroof and removed property worth $450.
