POSTPONED: Portion of Southbound 405 Freeway to Close Monday, Tuesday Nights
Metro has postponed the planned closure of the southbound 405 Freeway from the 101 Freeway to Getty Center Drive.
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority announced Monday that it will postpone the of a portion of the southbound 405 Freeway set for Monday and Tuesday nights.
The southbound 405 Freeway was scheduled to close from the 101 Freeway to Getty Center Drive.
According to Metro, crews were going to construct falsework at the Mulholland Bridge and place girder plates "above each bridge span and across each direction of the freeway roadway." Falsework is a temporary structure that supports a bridge during reconstruction.
