Purple Line Work Causes More Lane Closures On Wilshire Boulevard
Wilshire Boulevard will close one lane in each direction this week in Beverly Hills.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Purple Line work is again causing traffic disruptions in Beverly Hills. From Tuesday through Saturday from midnight to 10:45 a.m., Wilshire Boulevard will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Rodeo Drive to Crescent Drive.
Left turns will be restricted from Wilshire Boulevard at El Camino Drive, Beverly Drive, South Canon Drive, and Crescent Drive, the city announced. Traffic signals at the intersections of Wilshire and Beverly, South Canon, and Crescent drives.
The same restrictions were in place last week, and may continue until the end of May, when crews hope to finish excavating the foundation of the future Wilshire/Rodeo station. Deliveries of construction materials like steel rebar and concrete to the future station occur during nighttime hours, resulting in lane closures.
