Incumbents Stay On Beverly Hills City Council: Election Results

Residents headed to the polls to vote in the Beverly Hills City Council election.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — With the results yet to be certified, Beverly Hills residents voted for incumbents Lili Bosse and Julian Gold to remain on the City Council. which is being tallied Tuesday night.

There were five candidates and one write-in candidate vying for two seats on the Beverly Hills City Council.

The candidates were: Lili Bose, a Beverly Hills City Councilmember; Julian A. Gold, a physician and Beverly Hills City Councilmember; Lori Greene Gordon, a Planning Commissioner and businesswoman; Rabbi Sidney "Simcha" Green, an educator; Robin Rowe, a technologist; and write-in candidate Aimee Zeltzer, an attorney, educator and author.

As of 8:45 a.m. Wednesday, Lili Bosse was leading with 37.98 percent of the vote, followed by Julian Gold with 28.92 percent of the vote, Lori Greene Gordon with 23.16 percent of the vote, Sidney Green with 5.09 percent of the vote and Robin Rowe with 4.85 percent of the vote.

As of Jan. 3 in Los Angeles County, 88.91 percent of the 6,184,646 eligible voters were registered.

Out of the 5,498,704 total registered voters, 51.11 percent are registered Democrats, 16.81 percent are registered Republicans, 2.4 percent are registered American Independents and 0.42 percent are registered Green Party.
