Runners Lace Up For The 2018 Sketchers Performance LA Marathon
More than 24,000 runners are expected to run the course from Dodgers Stadium to Santa Monica. Here's all you need to know.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA – More than 24,000 runners will make their way through Los Angeles County on Sunday, March 18 as part of the 2018 Sketchers Performance LA Marathon. The 26.2-mile course will begin at Dodgers Stadium and end in the City of Santa Monica, passing through West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and Century City along the way.
There will be street and freeway entrance closures to accomodate the high volume of people in the cities where the course passes through. Runners from more than 63 countries are expected to traverse the course.
“As someone who has run the L.A. Marathon many times, I know first-hand the hard work that goes into preparing for and running in the marathon,” said City of West Hollywood Mayor John Heilman. “Participating in this athletic adventure has brought marathoners to one of the most inspiring cities in the world."

Parking will be strictly prohibited along the L.A. Marathon route, and “No Parking” signs will be posted prior to the event. Those watching the marathon or traveling around Los Angeles on Sunday are encouraged to carpool and to use public transportation, taxis, or ride sharing options.
