Santa Ana Winds Return To Agoura Hills
The Devil Winds are back, bringing gusts of up to 55 miles an hour.
AGOURA HILLS, CA — The Santa Ana Winds are back, bringing strong gusts of wind to Southern California Wednesday and Thursday.
The weather service issued a high-wind advisory slated to last from 9 p.m. Wednesday to 3 p.m. Thursday across the region including for the San Fernando Valley, the L.A. Coast and Downtown Los Angeles, including Malibu, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Hollywood and Long Beach. In those areas, heavy wind gusts could reach 55 mph, the weather service warned.
According to the weather service, gusts could reach 65 mph in some areas including the Santa Monica Mountains, Ventura County Mountains, Los Angeles County Mountains and Santa Clarita Valley.

The weather service warned that winds could blow down large objects like trees and power lines, and power outages are possible. In the last bout of strong Valentine's Day winds, trees fell on cars, and a dining tent in the San Fernando Valley even blew away.
The Santa Ana winds are expected to die down Thursday afternoon before returning again over the weekend.

Temperatures are expected to remain mild across Los Angeles all week, hovering in the uppers 60s and the mid-70s inland. No fire warnings are currently in effect.
