BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Comedian and television host Steve Harvey's stepdaughter was cited for allegedly leaving the scene of a non-injury crash in Beverly Hills, police said Monday.

The 22-year-old model's Mercedes-Benz SUV crashed about 9:45 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block of Moreno Drive, according to Beverly Hills police Lt. Elisabeth Albanese.

The Mercedes "was traveling north on Moreno when it collided with an unoccupied parked vehicle," Albanese said.

When officers arrived, the driver of the car — subsequently determined to be Lori Harvey — was not at the scene, but was located in the area, the lieutenant said.

"Due to the fact that Harvey left the scene of the collision without providing her information or contacting police as required by law, and caused a delay in the police investigation, she was cited for misdemeanor hit-and-run ... and obstructing/delaying a police officer," Albanese said.

Harvey is scheduled to appear at the Airport Courthouse on Jan. 21, the lieutenant said.
