Sunset Boulevard Still Closed After Water Main Break
There is no estimate of when repairs will be completed, authorities said.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA – Public Works crews are working to repair the damage from a broken water main on a portion of Sunset Boulevard that remained shut down Monday, authorities said.
The break occurred early Sunday morning and prompted crews to shut down Sunset Boulevard at Alpine Drive, Beverly Hills authorities said. Eastbound Sunset Boulevard is also closed at Rexford Drive with traffic being diverted north and south.
One lane of westbound Sunset Boulevard was open to traffic, Beverly Hills police Sgt. K. Orth said.

"There are several water companies with pipes there," Orth said. Part of the delay was identifying whose pipe was broken and diverting water around the break.
The closures and traffic diversions will remain in effect until the problem has been resolved, Beverly Hills Public Works said.
Residents and businesses were urged to conserve water and eliminate landscape watering for at least the next seven days.
