Two Pedestrians Hit, Injured By Car In Beverly Hills

The man and woman were taken to a hospital after they were hit by a vehicle on Santa Monica Boulevard, police said.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — A man and woman were struck by a vehicle and injured Monday evening in Beverly Hills.

The pedestrians were struck about 7:10 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Santa Monica Boulevard just east of Rexford Drive, according to the Beverly Hills Police Department.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and rendered aid until police and paramedics arrived, police said.

Both victims were taken to a hospital, but an update on their conditions was not immediately available.

Eastbound lanes of Santa Monica Boulevard were closed in the area as officers investigated.
