Washington Nationals Bryce Harper Awarded In Beverly Hills
The all-star outfielder will receive the "A Scout's Dream Award" at the 15th annual Professional Baseball Scouts Foundation event.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA – Washington Nationals all-star outfielder Bryce Harper will receive the "A Scout's Dream Award" at the 15th annual Professional Baseball Scouts Foundation's "In the Spirit of the Game" Sports and Entertainment Spectacular in Beverly Hills, organizers announced Tuesday.
The award is named because it is every scouts dream to find a major league superstar.
Harper was the first player chosen in the 2010 MLB draft, a five-time selection for the All-Star Game and the 2015 National League MVP.

The fundraiser on Jan. 13 at The Beverly Hilton will be hosted by Matt Vasgersian, Joe Magrane and Heidi Watney of the MLB Network and former CNN host Larry King.
The event benefits the Professional Baseball Scouts Foundation, which provide assistance to scouts (or their immediate family) who are in financial need.
