What's Up: Close BOE Election Results, CERT Class Sign-ups, Gwynn Murrill Statues
Here are five things to know in Beverly Hills today.

1. The Beverly Hills Unified School District's Board of Education election results show, as of 12:25 a.m. Nov. 5, Howard Goldstein with 1,333 votes, incumbent Lisa Korbatov with 1,332 votes, James Fabe with 267 votes and John Dohm with 162 votes. Click here for more information.
2. This November, the City of Beverly Hills Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) will offer free classes to help businesses prepare for major disasters. Click here for more information.
3. The Sunrise Reminiscence Program holds an open house at 5 p.m. Click here for more information.
4. The twenty-two life-size bronze animals, by Los Angeles artist Gwynn Murrill, which have transformed the medians of Century City’s Avenue of the Stars over the past year, will remain between Santa Monica and Pico boulevards for an additional three months through January 2014.
