Wind Advisory In Effect In Beverly Hills Until Wednesday
Batten down the hatches: howling winds could climb as high as 20 miles per hour in Beverly Hills.
BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Beverly Hills is under a Wind Advisory from Tuesday at 8 p.m. until Wednesday at noon, along with much of West Los Angeles, Ventura County, the San Fernando Valley, and the Inland Empire.
Wind speeds may climb as high as 20 mph in Beverly Hills on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service. Wind speeds are currently around 15 mph in Beverly Hills.
Wednesday morning will see winds of 10 mph, before slowing down to 5 mph Wednesday night after the Wind Advisory expires.

Wind speeds will be much higher in the mountains and canyons: northeast winds of 15 to 30 mph are expected Tuesday night in the Santa Monica Mountains and canyons, and may climb as high as 40 mph. Gusts of up to 55 mph are expected in the Santa Clarita foothills and 60 mph above Porter Ranch and Chatsworth.
High winds may result in downed trees, downed power lines, and blackouts. Drivers are advised to go slowly, especially in the mountains.
