Crews Knock Down Brush Fire In Brentwood

Video footage from the scene showed flames burning near power lines.

BRENTWOOD, CA — Firefighters doused a 400-square-foot grass fire that broke out near homes in the 1000 block of Kenter Avenue in Brentwood Tuesday night.

Crews responded about 5:20 p.m. near the Getty Fire burn area, but it was not associated with the blaze, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Video footage from the scene showed flames burning near power lines, flashing quickly between different colors, KTLA reported.

Wires were reported down, Stewart said.

There was no immediate word on the cause of the fire.
