Fallen Tree Causes Brentwood Power Outage
The Department of Water And Power has removed the tree and offered an estimation for when power would be restored.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A tree fell on power lines in Brentwood this morning, knocking out power to just under 1,000 Los Angeles Department of Water and Power customers.
The outage was reported about 12:30 a.m. along Mandeville Canyon Road, according to the LADWP.
Sunset Boulevard was closed from Rockingham Avenue to Riviera Ranch Road as crews worked to remove the tree.

The DWP reported about 4:45 p.m. that the tree had been removed and limited access restored on that stretch of Sunset, while full restoration of service was estimated by 9 p.m.
