Wells Fargo, BALANCE and Keep Your Home California to hold free mortgage-assistance event April 5 in Antioch

Keep Your Home California, a free mortgage-assistance program, has helped almost 161 hard-hit homeowners with their mortgage payments in Brentwood during the past six years – and hundreds more could be helped.
So, Keep Your Home California is teaming up with BALANCE (formerly Consumer Credit Counseling Service of San Francisco) and Wells Fargo to hold a first-of-its-kind event to assist homeowners facing difficulties making their mortgage payments and detail their options.
The free event – open to all homeowners with mortgage challenges in the Bay Area, regardless of their mortgage servicer – is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, at the Wells Fargo branch at 2601 Somersville Road in Antioch. It’s the first time Wells Fargo has held a mortgage assistance event in a branch office.
