Kung Fu School Opens in Brentwood (Video)
Kung Fu of Golden Dragon welcomes students of all ages for training sessions ranging from the intense Dragon Style to the more docile form of Tai Chi.

At first glance, the can look a little intimidating until you walk through it's doors.
The lobby itself invokes the seriousness of the Chinese craft its instructors teach. An intricate golden dragon statue sits below the school's logo on the wall and is flanked by a small bamboo plant and a statue of an ancient Chinese warrior poised for battle.
The studio sits on the second floor of the Brentwood Gardens shopping center and is Golden Dragon Martial Arts School's first and last U.S. location, according to vice president Art MacHentsev.

"When you open too many schools, you can sacrifice quality," said MacHentsev. "Bruce Lee said that too."
The first studio was opened in Moscow in 2002 and, according to MacHentsev, has since also expanded to Austria, Spain, and China.
