405 Closure: On And Off Ramps at the Getty Center
Beginning at 9 p.m. on Friday, the 405 freeway on- and off-ramps at the Getty Center will be closed so that crew can install housing for electrical transformers.
The northbound on- and off-ramps of the 405 Freeway at the Getty Center will be closed Friday night at 9 p.m. so that crews can continue power vault installation, according to Metro.
The vault will house electrical transformers used in power distribution.
As part of the I-405 Sepulveda Pass Improvements Project, this work will help to facilitate the widening of the freeway to make way for a northbound carpool lane, Metro officials stated.
