Seriously Injured Hiker Hoisted into LAFD Helicopter
The man is injured while hiking in Mandeville Canyon Park late Saturday afternoon.
More than 20 Los Angeles firefighters from ground and air units were dispatched to Mandeville Canyon Park on Saturday at approximately 3:17 p.m. after a hiker was reported injured, according to LAFD spokesperson Erik Scott.
The unidentified, 40-year-old male was hoisted into a LAFD helicopter with severe head and rib injuries and transported to UCLA Medical Center in serious condition.
LAFD had no further information by article publication.
