Accused Bank Robber Pleads Not Guilty
Gerard Myer is accused of donning a wig and stealing almost $8,000 from Wells Fargo.

Gerard Joseph Myer, the man accused of robbing the San Mateo Wells Fargo last week, will go to trial later in the year after he entered a not guilty plea on Wednesday.
Myer's preliminary hearing was set for Oct. 22. He remains in custody on $50,000 bail.
Myer was arrested on Monday at a Burlingame motel after he called 911 to report that his girlfriend was having a seizure.
According to the San Mateo County District Attorney's Office, Myer's appearance matched a photo that was circulated of the bank robber a week earlier.
The photo shows a man in a wig, hat and sunglasses. A passerby saw the suspect in the costume and took a photo because she "thought it strange," DA's Office notes reveal.
The suspect, thought to be Myer, then entered the bank and made off with $7,721 in cash.
