Apartment Fire Victims Still Displaced

Nearly two weeks after fire broke out at a Burlingame apartment building, some residents are still seeking help from the Red Cross.

On Friday, June 15, a Burlingame apartment complex caught fire at 1015 Cadillac Way. Nearly two weeks later, some residents are still seeking help while putting their lives back together.

“We’re still working with quite a few people,” said Elizabeth Shemaria of the Red Cross Bay Area Chapter.

She said the fire displaced 68 people and impacted 25 apartment units. Of those displaced, the Red Cross helped 24 and continues to work with about 14 residents.
