Bring a Toy, Spread Some Cheer on Broadway

On Friday, November 30 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., Broadway joins in on holiday celebrations with the annual Broadway Cheer.

The Broadway Business Improvement District teams up with the Burlingame Chamber of Commerce for the festive event, featuring a toy drive and local holiday music.

For the past six years, Burlingame residents have come to Broadway for the annual event, celebrating the season and local business.

The Central County Fire Department sponsors the toy drive during Broadway Cheer as part of its larger holiday toy drive. The toys are donated to numerous agencies throughout San Mateo County, such as women’s centers, church outreach outreach centers and more.

Many Broadway stores have toy bins located in their shops throughout the season for the toy drive.
