Burlingame High Principal Announces His Resignation

Chris Holleran says he wishes to work closer to his home of Santa Rosa.

Burlingame High School Principal Chris Holleran announced his resignition Wednesday, effective at the end of the current academic year on June 30.

He said the reason for his decision was a desire to work closer to home. Holleran, Burlingame High’s principal for the last five years, lives in Santa Rosa.

“For the last 12 years,” he said in a news release. “I’ve worked in either Marin County or San Mateo County. It’s time to reduce that commute.”
