Burlingame Police Blotter: Two Businesses Burglarized

Sunday, October 7
12:09 a.m. There was a report of juveniles jumping a fence on the 0 block of Mangini Way and bugging people at an event. They were gone before police arrived.
2:11 a.m. There was a report of a drunk cab driver on the 1400 block of Bayshore Highway.

8:00 a.m. A business on the 1000 block of Broadway was burglarized and cash was taken from the register.
11:15 a.m. A political campaign sign was stolen from a lawn on the 1100 block of Balboa Avenue.

Monday, October 8
1:56 a.m. There was a report of loud subjects in a backyard on the 3000 block of Arguello Drive. They were told to move indoors.
6:38 a.m. There was a report of a person sleeping and covered in sheets behind a building on the 1800 block of Trousdale Drive.
11:34 a.m. A hotel on the 1300 block of Bayshore Highway reported a gate was damaged when a truck drove through.
8:25 p.m. A man reported to police that his motorcycle was stolen while he ate dinner at Broadway and Laguna Avenue.
Tuesday, October 9
2:08 a.m. A resident told police a raccoon was trapped in her garage on the 1600 block of Easton Drive. The officer left the door open a bit so the raccoon could leave.
11:16 a.m. There was a report of a telephone or electrical wire down at Capuchino Avenue and Carmelita Avenue.
11:48 a.m. A business on the 1100 block of Burlingame Avenue was broken into and the cash from the cash drawer was taken.
12:53 p.m. The fire department helped get into a car in which a baby had been locked inside on the 900 block of El Camino Real.
5:26 p.m. A woman reported finding a gun in her son's recently purchased car.
