Burlingame Shelter Hosting Annual 'Kitten Nursery Shower'
Shower these cute little felines with love at the fifth annual Kitten Nursery Shower.
BURLINGAME, CA — The Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA is holding its annual kitten nursery shower Saturday at its shelter in Burlingame, offering the community a "unique opportunity" to see some of the tiniest kittens currently in the care of the organization.
"During this free event, guests can watch volunteers syringe-feed tiny kittens, ask staff about life-saving work and learn about volunteer and foster care opportunities," Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA Spokeswoman Buffy Martin Tarbox said. "There will also be activities for children including face painting and a balloon animal maker."
Snacks for the event have been donated by Copenhagen Bakery & Cafe and Trader Joe's.
