Burlingame Teachers and District Reach Three-Year Contract Agreement
The agreement, which calls for a two-percent salary raise, will be voted on at Tuesday's board meeting.

Burlingame Elementary School District and its teachers reached a three-year contract agreement Tuesday.
The agreement calls for a retroactive two percent salary raise, a one-percent one-time payment and a paid increase in medical benefits, reported the San Mateo Daily Journal.
The agreement also includes a new teacher evaluation system developed by a group of administrators and teachers.

The new agreement will be voted on at Tuesday’s 7 p.m. Board Meeting at the District Office.
Both the Millbrae Elementary School District and the San Mateo County Office of Education have held protests in the last week, rallying for a two percent raise. Â
