Caltrans' big plans for El Camino in Burlingame

Transformation would affect historic trees, bike/ped access and more

Learn about Caltrans’ plans for updating El Camino in Burlingame at a free online Zoom event hosted by the Citizens Environmental Council (CEC) on Wed. Jan 6, 7-8 p.m.

Pre-registration for this meeting is required at https://bit.ly/3rQKf0t. Comments and concerns about the project are due to Caltrain by January 8 at https://ecralternatives.com/forum/.

Caltrans intends to do a complete renovation that will impact the historic tree canopy, bike/pedestrian safety, public transit and traffic flow. Three members of a task force formed in 2016 to negotiate the plan will join the forum: Councilmembers Michael Brownrigg and Emily Beach and CEC Director Jeff Londer.
