Coronavirus: Burlingame Assisted Living Facility Resident Dies

BURLINGAME, CA — A Burlingame assisted living facility resident who tested positive for the new coronavirus has died, The San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Atria Burlingame said in a statement that the facility tested seven residents after it confirmed its first case on March 15, of which five tested positive and one died, the report said.

Atria Burlingame said the San Mateo County Health Department was on site evaluating conditions at the facility.

“We continue to work closely with them to monitor the situation and take the necessary steps to protect our residents,” the company said in a statement.
