Drug Paraphernalia Found In Peninsula DUI Suspect’s Arrest

Shortly before 2 a.m., Millbrae Police Bureau deputies contacted a driver who was passed out in his car, authorities said.

MILLBRAE, CA — Sheriff’s deputies found drug paraphernalia and suspected cocaine and methamphetamine, among other items, during the arrest of a Peninsula DUI suspect Monday, authorities said.

Shortly before 2 a.m., Millbrae Police Bureau deputies contacted a driver who was passed out in his car, blocking the intersection at Magnolia and Meadow Glen avenues.

According to deputies, the driver, later identified as 23-year-old Jordan Means, refused to follow orders when he awoke.

De-escalation techniques were used for 20 minutes by deputies, but Means continued to refuse to cooperate.

Means was forcibly removed from the vehicle and detained, and a vehicle search led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia, suspected cocaine and methamphetamine, scales, plastic baggies, and cash.

Neither Means nor the involved deputies suffered injuries.
