Mills Canyon Trail Clearance

The Mills Canyon Nature Preserve needs volunteers to walk the trail, look for non-native plants and trash, and help remove them.

Everyone interested should meet at 9:45 a.m. at the entrance across from 3000 Arguello Drive, Burlingame.

Bring a hat, gloves, and a pointed shovel. New acquaintances (and free doughnuts!) are yours for helping out during these two hours of fun community effort.

Friends of Mills Canyon is the non-profit, volunteer organization that sponsors this event and other monthly activities in this beautiful preserve.

FOMC hikes allow Burlingame adults and children to learn about the flora, fauna, and creek flow characteristics of the ecosystem nestled between Skyline Drive and Mercy High School. When we’re not learning about plants, trees, mushrooms, insects, birds, and water quality, Burlingame citizens pitch in to clear the trail.
