Free screening of 'An Inconvenient Sequel'
BHS students will do presentation at 6:30 p.m.

The Citizens Environmental Council of Burlingame (CEC) invites you to a free screening of “An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power” at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8, in the Burlingame High School (BHS) Auditorium at 1 Mangini Way in Burlingame. The program, which is cosponsored by the Burlingame Environmental Club at the high school, will begin at 6:30 p.m. with BHS students presenting their ideas for making their school more sustainable.
A decade after “An Inconvenient Truth” drew global attention to the climate crisis, this follow-up documentary shows how close we are to an energy revolution. In the film, former Vice President Al Gore continues his tireless fight around the world, pursuing the idea that while the stakes have never been higher, climate change can be overcome with human ingenuity and passion.
At 6:30 this same evening, BHS students who received paid environmental internships from CEC will share their ideas for making BHS more sustainable. More info: https://bit.ly/2yEzgwm
